Capen Music Sdn Bhd is a music school and retail store located at Jalan Radin Bagus, Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We also offer other services such as instrument repair, piano tuning, restringing and polishing.

Our concept is to provide the perfect environment for both new and experienced music students. With a team of energetic, experienced & qualified teachers, 16 fully-equipped music studios, a rehearsal & performance hall and a music retail store with over 1000 products, we have everything you need, as a music student, to start your music education.

Internationally recognised examinations and syllabus

Thee structure of education is its syllabus. Our programmes are all structured to work perfectly with international examination boards such as ABRSM UK and Rockschool UK. Being a registered centre with ABRSM and Rockschool helps you as a student to gain complete access to all of the exam board’s services.

We have a a complete range of ABRSM and Rockschool syllabus as well as qualified and experienced ABRSM and Rockschool instructors so that you are fully prepared when sitting for your examinations. When you are ready, you can register your intention to sit for an ABRSM and Rockschool directly with us and we will guide you through the entire registration process, step-by-step.

In fact, we are proud to say we are one of the very few Rockschool Examination Centres (REC) in Malaysia and the only Rockschool Examination Centre in Sri Petaling.

Experienced and Qualified Teachers

Before engaging our music instructors to teach in our music school, we ensure that each of our music instructor has the necessary qualifications required to teach so that you get the best out of your music education. Besides the paper qualification, every teacher in our music school would be proud to tell you about their experience in the world of music performance; whether as a local band artist, philharmonic orchestra member or soloist. This is so that you, as a music student, don’t only learn about the technical parts of music but also have the opportunity to hear from people who are actually involved in real music performances.

Fully-equipped studios and performance hall

By providing high-quality instruments in our acoustically-treated studios you get to enjoy a conducive environment while learning music. Our studios are equipped with sound systems and wireless internet so that students gain access to online resources for a technology-integrated learning experience.

Our music school also features a 100-seater performance hall for recitals and concerts equipped with amplifiers, instruments and sound systems as we believe that exposure to musical performance is vital to a student’s learning experience. The hall is also used to facilitate jam sessions and ensemble practices.

Over 1000 products

Besides our school facilities, we also have a music retail store fully-stocked with music instruments, books, accessories and parts. We have everything and anything you need as a music learner need regardless of what instrument you are learning. We offer a wide range of music equipment and instruments from various brands such as percussion, strings, wind, brass, music accessories as well as sound systems. Our music store in Sri Petaling also offers extra services such as repair, restring, tuning, transportation as well as polishing.
